The “Car Fragrance” group standard formulation kick-off meeting was successfully held at Carori Holding Group!
On September 12, 2025, the launch meeting for the Automotive Air Freshener Group Standard—aimed at promoting quality upgrades and the healthy development of the automotive fragrance industry—was successfully convened at the headquarters of Carori Holding Group.
Hosted by Carori Holding Group, the meeting brought together representatives from industry associations, leading enterprises, research institutions, and supply chain partners to jointly outline the standardization blueprint for the automotive air freshener industry.
Distinguished attendees included Mr. Jiang Haitao, Chairman of Carori Holding Group; Mr. Li Shiyuan, Director of the Automotive Accessories Standardization Professional Committee; Mr. Xiao Chonghao, General Manager of Carori Holding Group; Mr. Xie Minggui, General Manager of Shangbang Company; representatives from Sinopec Tianjin Yuetai Company; Mr. Liao Changsheng, Director of Jiangxi Chepu Industrial Co., Ltd., along with other industry authorities and technical experts.
The meeting opened with a keynote address by Mr. Jiang Haitao, Chairman of Carori Holding Group. He warmly welcomed all guests and emphasized the importance of establishing unified group standards in improving product quality, safeguarding consumer rights, guiding fair market competition, and promoting technological innovation and sustainable industry development. He noted that as a key industry participant, CARORI is committed to working collaboratively with peers to foster a more standardized and higher-level market environment.
Subsequently, Mr. Li Shiyuan, Director of the Automotive Accessories Standardization Professional Committee, officially announced the establishment of the Automotive Air Freshener Group Standard Drafting Working Group. This marked the transition of the standardization effort into a substantive implementation phase, laying a solid organizational foundation for drafting, public consultation, review, and final release.
During the standard content discussion session, Mr. Liao Changsheng, Director of the Chepu brand, introduced the preliminary framework of the draft standard, key technical indicators, and proposed testing methods, sparking in-depth discussions among participants.
From a market perspective, Mr. Xie Minggui, General Manager of Shangbang Company, analyzed the current landscape, challenges, and pain points of the automotive air freshener market, highlighting the urgency and long-term significance of establishing this group standard.
The open discussion session that followed was lively and productive. Representatives from participating organizations actively shared insights on critical technical aspects, including product safety, environmental performance, fragrance durability and evaluation methods, raw material selection, and labeling and marking specifications. Mr. Lin Song from Putte Aroma and Mr. Wang Yongjun from Guangdong Depu Biotechnology Co., Ltd. also contributed valuable professional opinions, ensuring the scientific rigor and forward-looking nature of the standard.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Mr. Xiao Chonghao, General Manager of Carori Holding Group and representative of the lead drafting organization, delivered the closing remarks. He expressed sincere appreciation for the expertise and contributions of all participants and reaffirmed the working group’s commitment to thoroughly reviewing and incorporating feedback to develop a scientific, rigorous, practical, and innovative group standard that will guide China’s automotive air freshener industry toward high-quality development.
