What are the differences between aromatherapy, essential oils, perfumes, and fragrances?

Essential Oils: These are pure, natural plant extracts with a high concentration. They can be used for aromatherapy, skincare (must be diluted), massage, etc., and have therapeutic properties.

Aromatherapy: This is a general term referring to the method of filling a space with fragrance using diffusers (such as diffusers and reed diffusers).

Fragrances: These typically refer to artificially blended products designed to create pleasant scents, such as scented candles, room sprays, and reed diffusers. They focus on the aroma rather than therapeutic effects.

Perfume: This is a personal fragrance used on the body. It has a high alcohol content and comes into direct contact with the skin.

Which type of aromatherapy should I choose when buying for the first time?

For convenience and safety: Choose a reed diffuser or aromatherapy spray; no electricity is required for lighting.

For a more ambiance: Choose scented candles; the combination of warm light and fragrance creates a strong sense of ritual.

Need a humidifying function: Choose an ultrasonic aromatherapy diffuser (requires water), suitable for bedrooms and offices.

For pure essential oils and therapeutic benefits: Choose a diffuser or cold aromatherapy diffuser (heats without water, preserving the activity of essential oils).

Why does the diffusion power of reed diffusers weaken? How to enhance it?

Reeds are saturated: Rotate the reeds regularly (e.g., monthly) or replace them with new ones.

Essential oil is depleted: Replenish or replace the diffuser solution promptly.

Large space: Increase the number of reeds (more reeds mean faster evaporation and a stronger fragrance).

Poor air circulation: Place in a well-ventilated area, avoiding corners.

How should essential oils and aromatherapy liquids be stored?

Avoid light, heat, and moisture. Store in dark glass bottles, tighten the caps, and place in a cool, dry place (such as a drawer). It is recommended to use them within 1-2 years after opening.
